DESIGN.RIP is a piracy website that steals and sell thousands of digital files and products from hundreds of individual creators and businesses all over the world.

As far as we know, DESIGN.RIP is run by one person; Alexandr Gorelenkov (real name Alexandr Makarov). Alexandr stores terabytes of pirated digital products using file sharing services like MEGA and sells them via DESIGN.RIP and through various Telegram channels and private groups.

Alexandr has been running the site since around May 2021 according to The Wayback Machine:

Based on subscriptions to his Telegram channels and site traffic, we estimate that Alexandr is making €1,000-2,000 per month selling your intellectual property and hard work.

DESIGN.RIP Telegram channels

Update 24 Dec 2023: Alexandr appears to have abandoned these channels and their subscribers after we successfully blocked them from using Telegram's Donate Bot and FreeKassa to accept payments and removed 1,000+ MEGA folders shared in them. We'll keep an eye out for new channels and share them here.

Alexandr runs several Telegram channels and Telegram bots to distribute pirated digital files and direct users back to DESIGN.RIP to purchase more of your stolen work. He uses his personal accounts @pohoze and @bysany to manage these channels:

• t.me/designrip — DESIGN.RIP is the main channel where Alexandr posts links to pages on design.rip. People can click on links and purchase stolen digital products.
• t.me/uxuio — DESIGN.RIP | Chat is the forum or discussion board.
• t.me/@uxui_bot — DESIGN.RIP UNLIMITED SUBSCRIPTION Alexandr uses to instruct users how to purchase stolen digital products or subscriptions to the private channels via credit card, crypto, and even via Telegram's own Donate Bot (which is against their user agreement).
• t.me/uxuis — DRIP is a new channel that Alexandr recently set up. We're not entirely sure what the purpose of this was as he just reposts articles that he has stolen from other websites to publish on DESIGN.RIP. We suspect he planned to introduce Donate Bot again so we got it blocked immediately. After we disabled this channel as well, Alexandr changed the name of the channel to one of our founding creators, t.me/tenghuilee. There is no greater compliment!

As if that's not enough, Alexandr also has some private Telegram channels that are "invite-only". These are accessibly only if users pay Alexandr €10 per month. Many users in the public Telegram channels complain that they've sent Alexandr money and were never added to these channels. These are the two "private" channels:

UXUIO

Update 24 Dec 2023: We successfully blocked this channel from using Donate Bot and FreeKassa and Alexandr has deleted this channel.

This is the main "private" channel. Alexandr uses this Telegram channel to share hundreds of mega.nz links to stolen digital products and to also "upsell" people to "premium" stolen digital products. 99% of the stuff in here is already on other piracy websites and many people complain it is a scam in the chat.

We can't share a link to this channel because it is not possible to join a private Telegram channel without an invite link. The channel administrator must provide you with an invite link or add your username manually.

UXUIO Chat

This is "private" chat channel that people have have paid €10 per month in the past can access. You're not missing much — it's a mix of ~200 piracy criminals asking for specific files from Alexandr and then complaining that they can never contact Alexandr and that MEGA links have been removed for copyright violations.

Again, we can't share a link to this channel because it is not possible to join a private Telegram channel without an invite link from an admin.

We've been paying €10 per month for a while now to keep any eye out for our files in these channels. While we're obviously a little biased, we can objectively say it's a complete scam. Alexandr rarely updates files and ignores requests. We've even seen instances where he kicks people out of the group simply for asking questions like a toddler.

We have a few accounts in the paid DESIGN.RIP channels and we're keeping a record and screenshots of all the active users, especially those who share digital products. We will be publicly naming and shaming these users via this website soon.

Alexandr completely abandoned his Telegram subscribers

After successfully crippling Alexandr's channels above, Alexandr appears to have abandoned them completely, along with existing subscribers. He did not communicate a single thing before stealing their money and ditching it:

It appears he has recently taken over the Telegram channel, t.me/DesignJobCasterng, and started posting links to DESIGN.RIP. We believe he was planning on monetizing this channel, but we've already successfully blocked this it from using Donate Bot. We will continue to block any and every payment method Alexandr uses. We hope he changes the name of this channel to one of our team members as well!

How does DESIGN.RIP make money?

The only reason Alexandr is allowed to profit from your hard work and stolen property is because not enough people have reported his accounts online. We've written guides on how you can do that here.

The DESIGN.RIP website and Telegram channels use various payment services and platforms to sell their pirated digital products.

Alexandr was using a Russian payment service called FreeKassa to accept payments. We've had one of Alexandr's FreeKassa accounts suspended already for violating their terms of use, but he was allowed to create a new account because, well, Russia. Thanks to your reports, it appears this second accounthas been suspended as well.

If he creates a new one, they will suspend it much faster because many people have complained in the past. We've written a guide on how to submit a copyright complaint here.

On Telegram, Alexandr accepts credit card payments and crypto primarily via links to his FreeKassa account. However, he mainly monetizes his channels by accepting "donations"  via Telegram's own Donate Bot. The best part about this is that it is against their user agreement which states:

We strictly prohibit using the Service to buy, sell, distribute, or pay for:
1. Any criminal activity:
• Encouragement, promotion, facilitation or instructing others to engage in illegal activity, fraud or the sale of dangerous or hazardous goods;

How do I remove my files?

The good news is we're winning the war. Our friends and I have had his entire site taken down a few times. We've also had his PayPal, Buy Me a Coffee, Boosty, FreeKassa, MEGA, Dropbox, Yandex, and many more accounts terminated and we're just getting warmed up.

If enough people send copyright complaints to his service providers, they permanently suspend his accounts. We've written simple step-by-step guides on how to do this.

A few MEGA copyright complaints which take a few minutes of work can get one his entire accounts terminated. This costs Alexandr countless hours of work re-uploading and organizing files. The bonus here is it also pisses off a lot of his subscribers:

Alexandr ignores DMCA Takedown Notices and legal letters. But that doesn't mean you can't have your files removed.
